It's early, but it's not that early. Eight Democratic candidates have already decided to run for president. Campaigning has begun in earnest with rallies and fund raisers that are hard to miss. In fact, the race is so intense that one candidate has already dropped out.

Democracy for America members are lining up behind candidates, taking action, and creating buzz. Today is our first chance to tell the presidential candidates how we feel as a community. How close are we to a consensus candidate?

An endorsement from Democracy for America will not come easily. Candidates will only earn our support with passionate positions, effective organizing, and a strong backbone. Please tell DFA "Draft Gore" (3.00 / 1)

I checked "other" and wrote the following comment:

I believe DFA should be part of the Draft Gore movement. Gore was there for Dean in 2004. Now we need to be there for him.

I noted that I am the organizer of a DFA group (http://www.dfalink.com/erp)

I'd rather just Vote for Obama.. But that being said, I would still like Gore in the race.

Well, I voted and recommended that DFA sponsor a presidential candidate debate or forum. DFA has standing as a grassroots activist organization among Democrats. DFA should leverage that standing.

Wouldn't that be cool?

As a DFA since 2003, I managed to vote when I got the email but, as usual, couldn't access the rest of the site, which wants cookies. I don't have a cookie problem anywhere else.

Not this time, but I've done it before. I am on a DFA state list and moderate a sublist, so I guess I don't miss anything.
